Remove

  1. Open all the doors.
  2. Lower all the windows.
  3. Remove the 2nd row lower seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - Lower - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  5. Disconnect 12V power. See 12V Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  6. Remove the cabin intake duct. See Duct - Cabin Intake (Remove and Replace).
  7. Remove the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace).
  8. Disconnect the electrical wiring harness connector from the center front airbag sensor.
  9. Remove the bolt that attaches the center front airbag sensor to the body, and then remove the sensor from the body.
    Torque 8 Nm
1Open all the doors.
2Lower all the windows.
3Remove the 2nd row lower seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - Lower - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
4Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
5Disconnect 12V power. See 12V Power (Disconnect and Connect).
6Remove the cabin intake duct. See Duct - Cabin Intake (Remove and Replace).
7Remove the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace).
8Disconnect the electrical wiring harness connector from the center front airbag sensor.
9Remove the bolt that attaches the center front airbag sensor to the body, and then remove the sensor from the body.
Torque 8 Nm

Install

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
