Remove

  1. Remove the front subframe assembly. See Subframe Assembly - Front (Dual Motor) (Remove and Install).
  2. Disconnect the electrical harness from the chiller and EXV assembly hose coolant temperature sensor connector.
  3. Release the clip that attaches the 12V battery vent hose to the chiller-car computer and HV battery supply manifold hose.
  4. Release the clip that attaches the electrical harness to the chiller-car computer and HV battery supply manifold hose.
  5. Place an absorbent towel under the chiller.
  6. Release the clip that connects the hose to the chiller and EXV assembly, and then disconnect the hose from the chiller.
  7. Plug the chiller coolant outlet.
  8. Place an absorbent towel under the car computer coolant connections, as shown.
  9. Release the clip that connects the LH car computer coolant hose to the car computer coolant port, and then disconnect the hose.
  10. Release the clip that connects the RH car computer coolant hose to the car computer coolant port, and then disconnect the hose.
  11. Plug the car computer coolant ports.
  12. Fully raise the vehicle, and then position a coolant drain container underneath the LH front side of the HV battery.
  13. Release the clips that attach the chiller-car computer and HV battery supply manifold hose to the vehicle.
  14. Release the clip that connects the chiller-car computer and HV battery supply manifold hose to the HV battery supply manifold.
  15. Plug the HV battery supply manifold.
  16. Release the clip that attaches the chiller-car computer and HV battery supply manifold hose to the 12V battery bracket.
  17. Release the clip that attaches the chiller-car computer and HV battery supply manifold hose to the 12V battery beam.
  18. Release the clips that attach the chiller-car computer and HV battery supply manifold hose to the vehicle.
  19. Remove the chiller-car computer and HV battery supply manifold hose from the vehicle.

2Disconnect the electrical harness from the chiller and EXV assembly hose coolant temperature sensor connector.
3Release the clip that attaches the 12V battery vent hose to the chiller-car computer and HV battery supply manifold hose.
4Release the clip that attaches the electrical harness to the chiller-car computer and HV battery supply manifold hose.
5Place an absorbent towel under the chiller.
6Release the clip that connects the hose to the chiller and EXV assembly, and then disconnect the hose from the chiller.
7Plug the chiller coolant outlet.
8Place an absorbent towel under the car computer coolant connections, as shown.
9Release the clip that connects the LH car computer coolant hose to the car computer coolant port, and then disconnect the hose.
10Release the clip that connects the RH car computer coolant hose to the car computer coolant port, and then disconnect the hose.
11Plug the car computer coolant ports.
12Fully raise the vehicle, and then position a coolant drain container underneath the LH front side of the HV battery.
13Release the clips that attach the chiller-car computer and HV battery supply manifold hose to the vehicle.
14Release the clip that connects the chiller-car computer and HV battery supply manifold hose to the HV battery supply manifold.
15Plug the HV battery supply manifold.
16Release the clip that attaches the chiller-car computer and HV battery supply manifold hose to the 12V battery bracket.
17Release the clip that attaches the chiller-car computer and HV battery supply manifold hose to the 12V battery beam.
18Release the clips that attach the chiller-car computer and HV battery supply manifold hose to the vehicle.
19Remove the chiller-car computer and HV battery supply manifold hose from the vehicle.

Install

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
