Inspection
| 1 | Remove the wheel. See Wheel (Remove and Install). |

|
| 3 | Dismount the tire from the wheel. See Tire - Front - LH (Dismount and Mount). Note: Mark the tire and wheel mounting locations, to simplify balancing later.
|
| 4 | Inspect the inside of the tire. If any of these conditions exist, stop the procedure and mount a new tire onto the wheel. See Tire - Front - LH (Dismount and Mount). Do not repair the tire.
|
| 5 | Repair the tire. See Repair. |
Repair
| 1 | Mark the location of the puncture on both the outside and inside of the tire. |
| 2 | Remove the object. |
| 3 | If the tire has a foam sound absorber, cut out a section of the foam with a radius of 50 mm from the puncture. |
| 4 | Use the carbide cutter to clean the puncture. |
| 5 | Inside the tire, center a minicombi insert over the puncture, and trace a circle approximately 15 mm larger than the insert. |
| 6 | Apply pre-buff cleaner to the traced area. |
| 7 | Use the liner scraper to scrape the traced area. |
| 8 | Repeat step 6 and step 7 until the traced area is fully cleaned. |
| 9 | Lightly buff the traced area until smooth. Note: If the cords are exposed, stop the procedure and mount a new tire onto the wheel. See Tire - Front - LH (Dismount and Mount).
|
| 10 | Vacuum any debris from the inside of the tire. |
| 11 | Apply blue cement into the puncture and apply a thin layer to the traced area. |
| 12 | Remove the protective cover from the minicombi insert and insert the guide pin into the puncture and out through the tire tread. |
| 13 | Use pliers to pull on the guide pin until the base of the minicombi insert is flush with the inside surface of the tire, and there is a slight dimple. |
| 14 | Roll the stitcher over the base working from the center outward, to fully adhere the base to the tire. |
| 15 | Remove the protective cover from the base and apply generous amounts of sealant to the base and traced area. |
| 16 | Cut the guide pin flush to the tread. |
| 17 | Mount the tire onto the wheel. See Tire - Front - LH (Dismount and Mount). Note: Use the locating marks made before dismounting the tire.
