Mounting - A/C Compressor (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the 2nd row lower seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - Lower - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the cabin intake duct. See Duct - Cabin Intake (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the hood latch cover. See Cover - Hood Latch (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace).
  6. Disconnect 12V power. See 12V Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  7. Support the A/C compressor to the thermal beam.
  8. Remove the bolts that attach the A/C compressor mount to the A/C compressor.
    Torque 10 Nm
  9. Remove the bolts that attach the A/C compressor mount to the thermal beam, and then remove the A/C compressor mount from the vehicle.
    Torque 10 Nm

3Remove the cabin intake duct. See Duct - Cabin Intake (Remove and Replace).
4Remove the hood latch cover. See Cover - Hood Latch (Remove and Replace).
5Remove the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace).
6Disconnect 12V power. See 12V Power (Disconnect and Connect).
7Support the A/C compressor to the thermal beam.
8Remove the bolts that attach the A/C compressor mount to the A/C compressor.
Torque 10 Nm
9Remove the bolts that attach the A/C compressor mount to the thermal beam, and then remove the A/C compressor mount from the vehicle.
Torque 10 Nm

Install

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
