Remove

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
  2. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the cabin intake duct. See Duct - Cabin Intake (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the hood latch cover. See Cover - Hood Latch (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the front fascia assembly. See Fascia - Front (Remove and Install).
  7. Remove the LH front airbag sensor. See Sensor - Airbag - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  8. Remove the center front airbag sensor. See Sensor - Airbag - Front - Center (Remove and Replace).
  9. Remove the RH front airbag sensor. See Sensor - Airbag - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  10. Remove the bolts that attach the front bumper with the energy absorbers to the crash cans.
  11. Carefully remove the front bumper with the energy absorbers from the vehicle.
    Caution:
    Do not damage the body when prying the front bumper.
    Note: Slightly tap the front bumper with a dead blow harmer to assist with removal of the front bumper.
  12. Remove the foam from the front bumper.

2Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
3Remove the cabin intake duct. See Duct - Cabin Intake (Remove and Replace).
4Remove the hood latch cover. See Cover - Hood Latch (Remove and Replace).
5Remove the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace).
6Remove the front fascia assembly. See Fascia - Front (Remove and Install).
7Remove the LH front airbag sensor. See Sensor - Airbag - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
8Remove the center front airbag sensor. See Sensor - Airbag - Front - Center (Remove and Replace).
9Remove the RH front airbag sensor. See Sensor - Airbag - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
10Remove the bolts that attach the front bumper with the energy absorbers to the crash cans.
11Carefully remove the front bumper with the energy absorbers from the vehicle.
Caution:
Do not damage the body when prying the front bumper.
Note: Slightly tap the front bumper with a dead blow harmer to assist with removal of the front bumper.
12Remove the foam from the front bumper.

Install

  1. Install the foam onto the new front bumper beam.
  2. Position the front bumper with energy absorber onto the vehicle.
  3. Install the bolts that attach the front bumper with the energy absorbers to the LH and RH crash cans.
    Torque 75 Nm
  4. Install the RH front airbag sensor. See Sensor - Airbag - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  5. Install the center front airbag sensor. See Sensor - Airbag - Front - Center (Remove and Replace).
  6. Install the LH front airbag sensor. See Sensor - Airbag - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  7. Install the front fascia assembly. See Fascia - Front (Remove and Install).
  8. Install the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace).
  9. Install the hood latch cover. See Cover - Hood Latch (Remove and Replace).
  10. Install the cabin intake duct. See Duct - Cabin Intake (Remove and Replace).
  11. Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  12. Remove the vehicle from the lift.
1Install the foam onto the new front bumper beam.
2Position the front bumper with energy absorber onto the vehicle.
3Install the bolts that attach the front bumper with the energy absorbers to the LH and RH crash cans.
Torque 75 Nm
4Install the RH front airbag sensor. See Sensor - Airbag - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
5Install the center front airbag sensor. See Sensor - Airbag - Front - Center (Remove and Replace).
6Install the LH front airbag sensor. See Sensor - Airbag - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
7Install the front fascia assembly. See Fascia - Front (Remove and Install).
8Install the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace).
9Install the hood latch cover. See Cover - Hood Latch (Remove and Replace).
10Install the cabin intake duct. See Duct - Cabin Intake (Remove and Replace).
11Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
12Remove the vehicle from the lift.
