Tool, Window Switch, Model 3 (1135305-00-A)

Procedure

  1. Remove the front LH door trim panel. See Panel - Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove and Install).
  2. Remove the plugs (x2) to access the regulator isolation clamps.
  3. Connect the window switch special tool and lower the window to access the regulator isolation clamps.
  4. Loosen the nuts that secure the window glass to the clamps, but do not remove the nuts.
  5. Adjust the window glass position and hand tighten the nuts.
  6. If the window angle needs adjustment, continue to the next step. Otherwise, skip to step 9.
  7. Remove the LH front door speaker. See Speaker - Front Door - LH (Remove and Replace).
  8. Loosen the lower regulator mounting bolts, and then adjust the regulator angle by turning the mounting stud. After the window angle adjustment is complete, hand tighten the lower regulator bolts.
  9. Fully raise the window glass.
  10. Close the front LH door and verify window fitment. Adjust the window glass, if necessary.
  11. Lower the window glass to access the regulator isolation clamps.
  12. Tighten the nuts that secure the glass to the clamps.
    Torque 10 Nm
  13. Tighten the bolts that secure the window regulator to the inner door
    Torque 10 Nm

  14. Install the LH front door speaker, if removed. See Speaker - Front Door - LH (Remove and Replace).
  15. Fully raise the window.
  16. Disconnect the window switch special tool.
  17. Install the plugs that cover access to the regulator isolation clamps.
  18. Install the front LH door trim panel. See Panel - Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove and Install).

2Remove the plugs (x2) to access the regulator isolation clamps.
3Connect the window switch special tool and lower the window to access the regulator isolation clamps.
4Loosen the nuts that secure the window glass to the clamps, but do not remove the nuts.
5Adjust the window glass position and hand tighten the nuts.
6If the window angle needs adjustment, continue to the next step. Otherwise, skip to step 9.
7Remove the LH front door speaker. See Speaker - Front Door - LH (Remove and Replace).
8Loosen the lower regulator mounting bolts, and then adjust the regulator angle by turning the mounting stud. After the window angle adjustment is complete, hand tighten the lower regulator bolts.
9Fully raise the window glass.
10Close the front LH door and verify window fitment. Adjust the window glass, if necessary.
11Lower the window glass to access the regulator isolation clamps.
12Tighten the nuts that secure the glass to the clamps.
Torque 10 Nm
13Tighten the bolts that secure the window regulator to the inner door
Torque 10 Nm

14Install the LH front door speaker, if removed. See Speaker - Front Door - LH (Remove and Replace).
15Fully raise the window.
16Disconnect the window switch special tool.
17Install the plugs that cover access to the regulator isolation clamps.
18Install the front LH door trim panel. See Panel - Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove and Install).
