Remove

  1. Open all four doors, lower all four windows, and then move both front seats forward.
  2. Remove the 2nd row lower seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - Lower - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the LH instrument panel end cap. See End Cap - Instrument Panel - LH (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the LH middle A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Middle - LH (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the LH lower A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
  7. Remove the driver seat. See Seat - Driver (Remove and Replace).
  8. Release the clips that attach the LH inner side shield to the seat, and then remove the LH inner side shield.
  9. Disconnect the electrical connector from the LH 1st row buckle.
  10. Release the harness clip from the seat bottom frame.
  11. Remove and discard the patchbolt that attaches the buckle to the seat track, and then remove the buckle.
    Torque 40 Nm

4Remove the LH instrument panel end cap. See End Cap - Instrument Panel - LH (Remove and Replace).
5Remove the LH middle A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Middle - LH (Remove and Replace).
6Remove the LH lower A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
7Remove the driver seat. See Seat - Driver (Remove and Replace).
8Release the clips that attach the LH inner side shield to the seat, and then remove the LH inner side shield.
9Disconnect the electrical connector from the LH 1st row buckle.
10Release the harness clip from the seat bottom frame.
11Remove and discard the patchbolt that attaches the buckle to the seat track, and then remove the buckle.
Torque 40 Nm

Install

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following:

Replace all patchbolts.
